Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett has signed into law a comprehensive transportation bill. In the next five years, $2.3-billion will be invested in highways, bridges and public transportation. The projects for that period include the $20-million resurfacing of I-80 in Mercer County, east of Route-19.

Resurface I-80: Rt 19 to Venango Co line. $20-million. Next four years.
Resurface I-80: Ohio line to Route 19. $10.8-million next four years. $14-million next four years.
Resurface Rt 158: Mercer to Lawrence Co line. $2.4-million next four years.
Resurface Rt 62: Ohio line to Budd St. $3-million. Next four years.
Corridor safety improvements: Rt 19 near Mercer; Rt 846. Next four years
