In 1997 Kevin Kline starred in a movie called IN & OUT about a high school teacher who questions his sexuality after a former student outs him as gay while making an Oscar acceptance speech. The situation (if not the sexual uncertainty) derived from an actual incident when Tom Hanks in 1994 thanked his gay high school drama coach for inspiring him to become an actor.
If you pay any attention to movies nowadays you've probably noticed the penchant for "hiding" the opening credits amidst action and plot development, a big change form the old days when they ran unobstructed for as long as that was gonna take before the action took over. The ultimate test of the audience patience came along in 1988 with the longest credits in history...specifically recognizing 771 people on screen!!
