Back in 1928 German actor Emil Jannings won the first ever Academy Award for Best Actor. It wasn't easy, however, in fact he only won after the judges disqualified the performer who'd recieved the most votes for not being human! He did have a great back story...rescued from a trench during WW!...and eventually becoming a huge star on kid's TV in the 50's!  Who got the most votes in the initial Oscar polling for Best Actor?
